How can I verify my identity?

During the order process, you will receive a secure link to your registered email address as well as via SMS to your mobile phone. The link contains your IDnow Ident-ID in the following format: "ABCDE-FGH". 

• Click on the link that you have received via email or on your mobile phone

• Select the device you wish to use for the verification 

• Accept the terms and conditions and click on Start identification

• Scan and tilt your ID card or passport 
  
• Take a selfie
• That's all!

Tips for a successful verification process:

• Check that your internet connection is strong and stable
• Use your EU/EEA ID card or passport, other document types are unfortunately not accepted
• Make sure you grant permission for your device to access your camera
• Don't forget to click on Start: Even if the camera is already active, the verification does not start until you click on Start
• If you switch tabs in your browser at the same time as when you're following the procedure, the procedure may be interrupted. Click on Retry
